The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Agatha engages in silent works of charity. Spiritual and corporal acts of mercy include fund raising for the poor, contributions to the St. Lawrence Haven, organizing Open Shelter dinners, northwest Partnership of Churches, Habitat for Humanity, supporting the Columbus Hispanic community, mailing bulletins to shut-ins, visiting hospitals and nursing homes, food and gas vouchers for those in need, and assistance to JOIN, the diocesan service group.

Mission:
Vincentians are friends and servants of the poor. We strive to alleviate the suffering of the poor. The poor include those who are materially poor, spiritually poor, emotionally poor, poor in health and aging. Assistance is in the form of monetary help, material help and groceries, or visitations. All parishioner can participate.
